Why did you start breeding?
I got into breeding because of a genuine love for the breed and a desire to raise healthy, happy puppies with wonderful temperaments. What started as a passion quickly became something I truly loved. Over the past 16 years, I’ve continued learning, improving my program, and helping families find puppies they can love for years to come.What makes your program special?
What makes our program special is the care and intention behind every litter. With 16 years of experience, we focus on health-tested parents, thoughtful pairings, stable temperaments, and raising puppies in a loving home environment. Each puppy is treated as an individual, and we’re committed to matching them with families where they can truly thrive.What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Getting a puppy from Ernesto
Ernesto has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.
After buyers complete the application and screening process, Ernesto partners with them to find the best puppy match.
“We want every puppy placed in a home where they’ll be loved and thrive. We consider each family’s lifestyle, experience, preferences, and goals when helping match them with a puppy. While families may express a preference, final placement is based on temperament, personality, and the best fit for both puppy and family.”
Price
“Our puppies are priced from $3,000–$4,000 depending on the individual puppy and registration terms. Pricing may vary based on limited or full AKC registration rights. Each puppy comes from health-tested parents and is raised with care, early handling, and plenty of love. A $250 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve a puppy. The deposit secures your chosen puppy and will be applied toward the total purchase price. Deposits are non-refundable if the buyer changes their mind or is unable to complete the purchase.”

This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. Parent health testing

Hip Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Vet Wellness Exam
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
DNA Disease Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
