I'm Gemma B., the breeder behind Ruby Ranch located in Waller, TX. Our dogs are bred for health, temperament, with a focus on athleticism and intelligence. I am dedicated to providing our families with a sweet, healthy family pet.

Why did you start breeding?
I got into dog breeding after falling in love with the standard poodle breed. They are a very underestimated dog. Exquisite, intelligent, athletic, protective and a phenomenal family pets.
What makes your program special?
I believe our program is special because we use BAB program, we raise the pups in our home and introduce the pups to grooming and nail trims early in life. We handle and love our pups from day one. They are introduced to different sounds, smells, activities and people before they go home. I try to introduce the puppies to potty training, leash training, crate training, and games to stimulate them
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are standard size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Gemma

Gemma has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,000 - $1,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

"The price includes CKC registration, health guarantee for the first year, first round of puppy vaccines, deworming, tails are docked, dew claws are removed, groomed, and socialized. We use the BAB program for our pups. We recommend the Baxter and Bella program for our puppy families. (BaxterandBella puppy school app; discount code: RubyRanch, save 25% ). Deposit is applied to the price of the purchase of the puppy. Pups will be microchiped and have papers for new owners to register."

Contract & health guarantee

Gemma may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
