Q. & A. with Lori

  • Why did you start breeding?

I started my breeding program with a wonderful Aussie named Megan! She was a beautiful blue merle with exceptional structure and a personality that melted your heart. Being in the Veterinary field I met another Aussie enthusiast that had a wonderful male. We developed a partnership. My friend mentored me in the detailed aspects of breeding and here I am today! Aussies are my passion!
  • What makes your program special?

I focus on health, temperament and preserving the best qualities of the breed. I believe that Health Testing is key to making careful pairing decisions that are thoughtfully planned with longterm breed improvement in mind. I prioritize confidence, trainability and socialization so our puppies thrive in real homes. I am always available to my puppy families for lifelong support and guidance.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Aussiedoodle puppies are mini size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Aussiedoodle puppies include brown and white, blue merle, red merle, and black and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.

Getting a puppy from Lori

Lori has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Lori partners with them to find the best puppy match.

“I chat with the potential owner to really determine if they are aware of the Aussie energy and to be sure that they are able to spend a good amount of time socializing and training the puppy in the critical first few months. This is not the breed for everyone, however if you spend the time necessary, you will have the best companion ever! Questions that I ask... 1. Are you an active person/family, 2. are you aware of the energy level (both mental and physical), 3. Have you ever been around an Aussie, 4. Do you have children, 5. Do you have a fenced yard and so on.”

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,000 - $2,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“The price includes a one year health guarantee against debilitating genetic defects, vaccination for Distemper Parvo and several deworming. A puppy go home bag with items scented by their siblings. Your deposit holds your place in line to choose your puppy from the next litter. It also locks in the price of the puppy. Your deposit rolls to next litter until you choose your puppy.”

Contract & health guarantee

Lori may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. If Lori offers a contract or guarantee, the details will be personalized by them. If you have any questions or want to know more, don't hesitate to reach out to Lori directly.
