I breed all three colors of the Miniature Schnauzer breed standard - salt & pepper, black & silver, and solid black. 6️⃣ Week Update!! These beautiful babies are 6 weeks old, and we’re having the time of our lives with them. They’ve hit the age my kids label their favorite because the puppies are SO.MUCH.FUN!! They know our faces and our voices 🥹. This is when we start to feel the sweet bond between man and man’s best friend. We’ve graduated from puppy mush to softened kibble because their little chompers 🦷 are ready for the chewing. Playtime is in full swing. They’re wrestling, playing tug-of-war, chasing, and jumping. We love getting them out of their pen to play on our family room floor. Socialization is continuing and expanding. We pick a few (always rotating so everyone gets a turn) to take with us on car rides 🚗, quick grocery store trips 🛒, stops at the gas station, and even plant nurseries ☘️🌼🌺 … places that don’t require us to put them down but show them more of the world and introduce them to new faces, places, and sounds. Next week, they have their first full visit at the vet when they’ll get their first DHPP and their AKC microchips. It won’t be long and these darlings will be feeling all the love from their forever families, families I pray over each day for the sweetest bond and the perfect match. Now, let’s see how these puppies are growing. We love weighing them and tracking their growth. Here they are in birth order with their current weight and (birth weight): ❤️Wyatt - 2 lbs. 8.2 oz. (6.2 oz.) 💙Hank - 3 lbs. 12.4 oz. (8.2 oz.) 💛Kensie - 2 lbs. 9 oz. (6.4 oz.) 🩷 Sophie - 2 lbs. 11.4 oz. (6.4 oz.) 💜Rosie - 2 lbs. 10.4 oz. (6.2 oz.) 🧡Finn - 2 lbs. 15.6 oz. (6.6 oz.) 💚Lainey - 2 lbs. 12 oz. (7.6 oz.) We love them all dearly!

4️⃣ Week Update!! Holly’s stunning seven 🤩 are 4 weeks old. This has been a big week with a lot of milestones. We introduced alfalfa pellets to begin the potty training phase and to acclimate them to the smell of grass for easier transitioning to pottying outdoors. They had their first taste of solid food - chicken pate with warm water - and everyone loved it as evidenced by the sound of sweet puppy smacking 😋. The boys ❤️💙🧡exhibited their fighting spirit 💪 and determination by making it over the ledge into Holly’s sleeping area. Those boys are also the first to let the whole house know when they want their momma 📢🙉. They’re momma’s boys through and through! Everyone is scampering all over the whelping pen. Play fights and ear bites are in full swing. We adore them all and eagerly watch for signs of their individual personalities slowly emerging. We have several still available, so please share and let us know if you’d like to scoop one up 🥰
