I'm Ashley R., the breeder behind Sacandaga Danes located in Mayfield, NY. We are proud to offer our beautiful Great Dane puppies to loving homes! Our dogs are healthy and have great temperaments. We are a small, in-home breeding program where we prioritize giving each dog and puppy the best care that we can. We cherish all of our animals and enjoy sharing the love of this breed with other individuals and families! We also rescue and help rehome other dogs needing new loving homes. We have successfully rescued and rehomed 7 Great Danes - puppies and adults - in the past 3 years.

What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include blue brindle, black and white, chocolate, brindle, fawn, blue, harlequin, mantle, merle, and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Ashley has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.
After buyers complete the application and screening process, Ashley partners with them to find the best puppy match.

“The price includes the guarentee, first round of shots, deworming, vet/health certification, puppy socialization and registration (if any applicable). The deposit is non-refundable, except in the event that the puppy develops a life-threatening condition or passes away while in the breeder’s care.”

Hip Dysplasia , Hip Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
