Meet the breeder

I'm Jenny M., the breeder behind Saddle Mountain Doodles located in Crawford, CO. Matching each family with the right puppy is the key to our success and yours. We are honored to bring another member of the family into your life! Our own dogs are a big part of our family and live inside our home (and bed) and they are all so gentle and loving. They absolutely love each other too. Each of our dogs have been DNA tested and the results are posted.

Q. & A. with Jenny

  • Why did you start breeding?

Retired from the health care field and all of our kids (human) have moved away, and my husband and I wanted to buy some inside dogs that did not shed and could live inside with us during the cold winter months in Colorado. Looked into doodles and fell in love with the 6 we picked out. They all came from back East, Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Indiana.
  • What makes your program special?

Our 4 doggy moms and 2 doggy dads live with us in the house and they are part of our family. We give them all our time and love and this makes their puppies so special to us. No puppy mills, just good old home living and loving.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our Cockapoo puppies are mini size. Sheepadoodle puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our Cockapoo puppies are red and white. Whoodle puppies are wheaten. Sheepadoodle puppies include white, black and white, and blue merle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Jenny the breeder is the most excellent breeder that I have ever purchased a puppy from! You received them in Great health condition and also very socialized when you get them! Also, the way she potty trains them on a grass pad is the best as Noel, now named Maggie has only had two potty accidents in the house other wise she goes outside! She is the most loving little puppy and that is due to the breeders training and love to them while she has them. I would absolutely get another puppy from Jenny!

Jenny was awesome to work with. iI had contacted her before the puppies were born, and she messaged me three days after they were born to let me know.Kept me up to date on which puppy was which and once we chose a puppy every week, she sent pictures and kept us updated on everything. was super easy with figuring out how we were gonna get the puppy and when I would definitely go through her again.

Jenny was great to work with! She answered all of my questions and replied super quickly. She worked with us to set up a time and place to meet up and the entire process was streamlined and extremely simple and quick. Harley is settling in nicely and you can tell she was raised well. Thank you so much!

Jenny was fantastic from start to finish, always sending pics & videos up to the time we took possession of Frosty. You can tell by his demeanor that she takes great care & provided a fantastic start to his life. He came to us at 8 weeks and already has an understanding of what he needs to do when we go outside & such. We had recently lost our female of 13 yrs, and the little man is bringing so much enjoyment, he has quite the personality. We realize he’s still a pup but it’s obvious the foundation is there, her pups will give you a great start!

Jenny was wonderful to work with. She answered my questions about our puppy and she was accommodating with us and our vacation schedule. Even though we weren’t able to meet him ahead of time, she told us about his temperament and sent videos and pictures of him. We love our new mini whoodle/sheepadoodle mix! He is adorable, calm, loves people and slept through the night from day 1! He is the perfect dog for our family. We could tell he was much loved and cared for before we met him and he even smelled good!
