We raise mini & medium Bernedoodles and BMD using top methods—ENS, ESI, early potty/command work. Puppies are raised in-home with expert care, leaving vet-checked and ready for their forever family.   • Why did you start breeding?

    Dogs have shaped our family—Boxers, Schnauzers, Shih Tzu, and a French Mastiff. After my husband’s passing in 2015, a Bernedoodle pup in Colorado sparked new purpose. King Louie, Tiger Lily, and Bernese mom Anastasia with her daughter Sprout anchor our boutique program. We raise 2–5 litters yearly, using ENS, ESI and top curricula to craft healthy, loyal “velcro” companions, loved in our home.

  • What makes your program special?

    Sage Hills raises only 2–5 Bernedoodle and BMD litters a year, all in our home. We blend proven ENS/ESI science with top puppy‑development curricula, teaching manners and resilience from day three. Each pup meets kids, dogs, hair dryers and splash pools, gets vet clearance and a year health guarantee, then leaves with lifetime breeder support and a heart wired for connection.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Bernedoodle puppies include mini and medium sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our Bernese Mountain Dog puppies are black rust and white. Bernedoodle puppies include brown and white, tri-color, and merle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home and guardian homes.

Getting a puppy from Lori

Lori has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Lori partners with them to find the best puppy match.

“Around 7 weeks, I evaluate each puppy’s personality to better understand who they are and what type of home they will thrive in. I absolutely understand being drawn to a certain look, and I take that into consideration. But I also believe the right personality match is key. I’m very honest about each puppy and work closely with families to create the best possible pairing—for both you and your puppy.”

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $2,500 - $3,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

  • Hip Dysplasia , Hip Dysplasia (Preliminary)

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

  • Brucellosis

    A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.

  • von Willebrand Disease I (vWD I), DNA Disease Panel

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
