I'm William S., the breeder behind Sage Mountain Farm and Kennels located in Duffield, VA. Our breeding program is a part of our farm operation that is family owned and operated and includes cattle, horses, and sheep. Animals are cared for by myself and my family and are a part of who we are. We specialize in helping match the right animal to the right family and stand behind each puppy that we produce.

Why did you start breeding?
A consistent love for dogs and dog training encouraged the beginning of Sage Mountain Farm and Kennels. I wanted to do my part to better the breed. My breeding program strives to maintain the unique characteristics of the breed while placing an emphasis on producing Dutch Shepherds of superior health, temperament, and obedience.What makes your program special?
I am a daily handler of my dogs. I do not breed my dogs unless they are fully healthy and show excellent obedience. I am dedicated to always having responsible breeding policies not only when producing puppies, but when socializing and training them, too! My dogs excel as family companions and working dogs and are great hunters. Prospective puppy parents are screened closely, and I commit to always being a resource and guide for all of my families who create a forever home for my puppies.Where do your breeding dogs live?

William has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Puppy prices include a $200 refundable deposit and between $800 - $1,800 final payment, before taxes & fees.
