I'm Ashley M., the breeder behind Sage Valley located in Eugune, OR. We prioritize earning AKC and UKC conformation titles prior to breeding to ensure our dogs meet established breed standards. Beyond conformation, we actively explore performance and dog sports to evaluate work ethic, trainability, resilience, and overall balance. Our goal is not to create extremes, but rather to develop confident, biddable, and correct Poodles. We strive for dogs that are capable partners, whether succeeding in conformation, participating in performance sports, or thriving as beloved companions. Each breeding is thoughtfully planned with health, temperament, and long-term breed preservation as guiding priorities. Through careful selection we aim to preserve and strengthen the qualities that define the Standard Poodle Above all, we are committed to producing dogs that enrich the lives of their owners while honoring the integrity and future of the breed.

Ashley partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 8 weeks old.
“We take great pride in our puppies and want every family to feel the same level of confidence and connection. From birth through eight weeks of age, each puppy is carefully evaluated for temperament, structure, confidence, and overall development. During these early weeks, we spend extensive time observing and interacting with them, allowing us to truly understand each puppy’s personality, strengths, and individual needs. Because of this hands-on approach, we do not allow buyers to select their puppy based solely on preference. Instead, we thoughtfully match each puppy with the home where they are most likely to thrive. Our goal is to create successful, lifelong partnerships by pairing families with the puppy whose temperament, energy level, and disposition best fit their lifestyle and expectations. This process helps set both the puppy and their new family up for long-term success, ensuring your newest companion is not only loved but perfectly suited to become your best friend.”

“The price of a puppy includes a two year health gurantee, AKC/UKC registration, the first round of vaccinations, and deworming. All puppies in a litter are priced the same. We ask for a $500 non refundable deposit to be added to my waitlist, this may transferred to another litter if the right puppy is unavailable in your selected litter.”
Ashley may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. If Ashley offers a contract or guarantee, the details will be personalized by them. If you have any questions or want to know more, don't hesitate to reach out to Ashley directly.
