Meet the breeder

I'm Adam C., the breeder behind Sakura Pups located in Genoa City, WI. We love to responsibly raise and train our puppies so they have the tools to be well-rounded, beloved family members. The foundation of our breeding program starts with raising healthy and well-loved dogs. We aim to pass the same happiness of owning a quality-bred dog to our buyers.

  • Why did you start breeding?

I adopted Keiko from a relative that had been breeding for several years and became interested their breeding program. It was not long after I adopted Keiko, that it was decided Sakura Pups needed to have a stud so the puppy hunt began. It was through Good Dog that I found the responsible breeder I adopted Hachi from. I enjoyed the experience so much I knew I needed to become a Good Dog breeder.

Adam was wonderful to work with - honest, ethical and he truly cared about his pups. I couldn’t have asked for a sweeter dog - what a wonderful disposition! And he was crate trained from the beginning.

Adam was great to work with. He responds quickly and was very accommodating. We picked up Ruby on Monday and already she is ringing the bells to go out to potty only 2 days later. Very smart, sweet puppy. She will be very easy to train. Also, Adam began crate training before we got her. We put her in at night about 9:30 and we don’t hear from her till about 6. Adam also has a bag of supplies for you when u come to take your pup home. He also bathed her and had her nails clipped. We are so happy with her and she is already such a big part of our lives. Labradoodles are a great breed. Ruby is our third one. Thank you Adam!

The adoption process was easy, and Adam's communication throughout was great! He was accommodating when scheduling a time to meet the puppies and eventually bring Lincoln home. Thanks to Adam starting crate training prior to adoption, potty training has gone better than we could have hoped. Lincoln has been a great addition to our family!

Adam was very quick and professional when responding to our initial inquiry. We had a great conversation as he was getting to know about us. He wanted to be sure we would be a good fit for one of his puppies. We were able to go and meet the puppies and fell in love with Cedar. We were able to bring him home a few weeks later. Cedar is a wonderful addition to our family!

Our experience with Adam and working through Good Dog was wonderful! Adam answered any questions we had and shared additional photos prior to pick-up day. He was very friendly and professional. Since bringing Gidget home, she has been such a fun addition to our family! Adam and his family's previous crate training with the puppies has made our lives so much easier. Gidget behaves very well and has no accidents in the crate!

We really enjoyed working with Adam to find our pup, Tater. Adam was fast to respond to questions ahead of the adoption, providing more details about the pups and their parents, complete with extra photos and videos. We've kept in touch since the adoption, sharing updates and photos. Tater is great with our kids, and they all keep each other entertained and exhausted by the end of the day. He's been a blessing to our family, and we're thankful for Adam (and Good Dog) for making it a reality! Good Dog made the process very easy with messaging, applications, and handling payments. Adam's paperwork and process were thorough and streamlined! We highly recommend both Adam/Sakura Pups and Good Dog for anyone looking for their new pup!
