We breed for good health, amazing temperament, and beautiful coloring. All puppies are raised right here at our loving home/farm, so they are loved on from the moment they are born, making them the perfect pet!

Why did you start breeding?
I grew up on a small farm and loved helping my dad breed Labrador Retrievers. My husband and I have continued the tradition and have bred German Shepherds, Bernedoodles, Wirehaired Pointing Griffons, and Angora Goats. We love animals and enjoy the process of uniting families with amazing pets!What makes your program special?
My program is rooted in a commitment to health, temperament, and ethical practices. I prioritize early socialization, breed-specific health testing, and love to see my puppies thrive with loving families. After buyers complete the application and screening process, Jeanette partners with them to find the best puppy match.
"We allow buyers to purchase in order of placing a deposit and help them find the right match."
Price
"Our puppies have their dew claws removed, have had all their deworming done, and receive their first set of vaccinations (6 week). They are sent home with a goodie bag! We require a deposit to hold your specific puppy. Balance is paid upon pick-up."

About Romi
Romi is an extremely affectionate dog who loves people. She is an amazing mother to her puppies and is a great teacher to them. She is the ultimate companion dog and is content to just lay near me while I work or go about household tasks. She loves other animals, including chickens. She is health tested and free of all genetic defects. This is her third litter, and all of her past puppy families have been so pleased with their purchase. Many have come back to buy another puppy from another litter because they've been so pleased! Her puppies are absolute perfection in every way!

Hip Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
DNA Disease Panel, von Willebrand Disease I (vWD I)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

Jeanette was so amazing to work with! She answered all of my questions and was very responsive. You can tell that she cares deeply for her puppies. It was such a quick decision for me when I found Pepper but I have been grateful everyday since. She is so much fun and working with Jeanette/Salt City Farm made it such an easy process. My daughter in law works at a vet hospital and was very impressed with the package given to us (heart worm medicine, records of parentage, when she had vaccinations) she said that is very rare to see. Pepper has been very easy to train and sleeping through the night since the third night. It helped that Jeanette gave us a blanket with Peppers mother’s scent on it to help acclimate. I really cannot say enough good about how responsive and willing to work with us they were.
