I'm Heidi R., the breeder behind Saltwater Doodles located in Hooper, UT. We’re proud of the healthy, affectionate, and behaviorally well-rounded puppies we raise for other families to love! Our puppies become integral members of our family. They’re a daily part of everything we do until they’re ready to join their forever families.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I was introduced to breeding by a wonderful lady by the name of Beverly Steckleberg. Beverly bred smooth fox terriers and got me started with my first breeding female. I've been continually striving to improve with each litter we've been blessed with.
  • What makes your program special?

    We start with health tested parents and whelp and raise our puppies inour home. We use Puppy Culture techniques to produce healthy well rounded puppies. We post daily pictures and videos of the puppies as they grow so potential families can watch each puppies growth, temperment,and confidence develope. We wantvevery family to get the puppy of their dreams.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Aussiedoodle puppies are standard size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our Bernedoodle puppies include tri-color and merle. Aussiedoodle puppies include blue merle, red merle, and black tri-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home and guardian homes.

Getting a puppy from Heidi

Heidi has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 deposit and between $2,000 - $3,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Purchase price includes vet checked pup, 3 rounds of dewormer, 1st round of shots, 2 year health guarantee, mothers/littermate scent blanket and a bag of goodies. We do not collect a deposit until puppies are born and there are pups you are interested in, then you can leave a deposit that goes towards the purchase price of the pup. Our waitlist is free to to be on.”

Contract & health guarantee

Heidi may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • DNA Disease Panel, PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd), Multiple Drug Sensitivity (MDR1)

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
