I'm LaRaye S., the breeder behind Sand Creek Bernedoodles located in Allegan, MI. Our family has a passion to breed phenomenally healthy Bernedoodles with unparalleled affectionate temperament, easy to train, and excellent with children. We go above and beyond to “do it right”, raising our puppies in home until they are ready to join your loving family!

  • Why did you start breeding?

    As a child, my dad had a passion for AKC German shepherds. We brought up one litter of year of phenomenal, German shepherd puppies. Seeing them bring so much joy and completeness to families, built-in me a passion for doing it right!

  • What makes your program special?

    Child and nature centered : the best puppies come from being around kids and outside with kids! Absolute Quality Health: my spare, no expense in our qualifications, that care and genetic testing! With over 30 years experience, breeding, what we do comes naturally and second nature! We adore our puppies and pray for them to find the right families who need them most!

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies include mini, medium, and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include black and white and tri-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from LaRaye

LaRaye has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Price

Puppy prices include a $300 non-refundable deposit and between $1,600 - $2,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Our family raises Mini and Standard puppies. Including deworming, first shots, vet health certificate, puppy curriculum, socialization with children and animals, crate and beginning potty training! All of our puppies are the same price, regardless of gender or color; except for pick up the litter. Deposit not mandatory, but it does ensure you first pick of the puppies.”

Contract & health guarantee

LaRaye may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.     Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI), Elbow Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)
