I'm Sandra B., the breeder behind Sandy Creek Kennels located in Dunn, NC. I'm a small breeder and take pride on the quality of my dogs. All of our dogs are raised as part of our family and we love them since the moment they are born. Our dogs are monitored 24/7, potty trained and socialized with small kids and other animals. They will make great show, breeding or agility prospects, as well as perfect companions.

  • What makes your program special?

    I love my dogs, I put a lot effort into training them, socializing them, making sure all their needs are met, grooming, quality food, health checks, toys, registration and lots of love!

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our Miniature Australian Shepherd puppies are miniature size. Poodle puppies include toy and miniature sizes. Aussiedoodle puppies include toy, mini, and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our Miniature Australian Shepherd puppies include blue merle, black tri, red tri, and red merle. Poodle puppies include sable, apricot, black, cream, red, and parti. Toy Australian Shepherd puppies include black tri, blue merle, red merle, and red tri. Aussiedoodle puppies include sable, blue merle, red merle, black and white, black tri-color, and red tri-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

Getting a puppy from Sandra

  • Patellar Luxation

    Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.

  • DNA Disease Panel

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

    Working with Sandra was such an amazing experience. She was very responsive and answered all our questions. We had a waiting period while our puppy grew old enough to take home and she provided us with updated photos and information as we waited. Our new pup is very well tempered, loving and super playful. We know it is because he came from a loving home before coming home with us. If you are thinking about bringing home a new fur friend I definitely recommend working with Sandra.

    Sandra was so easy to work with, and our dog is amazing. Oliver, formerly known as prancer, has been a dream. We were hesitant to get a puppy after losing our dog of 15 years, but found Oliver on this app and decided to go for it after a FaceTime call. He was so easy to potty train, he doesn’t shed, he is great with our kids, and is very playful. Sandra helped coordinate the transport from her place in North Carolina to us in Michigan and the cost was very reasonable. He loves being outside, especially in the snow, and he loves playing with the neighbor dogs. The best part is watching him with our kids. He is so playful and loves being with his people. He’s also a great road trip dog!! He’s been to Florida twice, Tennessee, Ohio and all over Michigan in our camper. He has his spot between the kids in the backseat and is so easy and well behaved in the car. Sandra as a breeder is top notch. She provided us a binder with information about his parents, genetic testing, his vaccinations to date, and general information about his breed. Our vet was impressed and said, for a breeder to provide this amount of information means that she really cares about her dogs, and I couldn’t agree more. Everyone in our family agrees that if we decide to get a second dog we will go directly to Sandy Creek Kennels to find his sibling. Thank you, Sandy, for such a wonderful pup!

    Finley, (formerly known as Chestnut), is such a wonderful addition to our family. He is very loving, plays with our 15 year old Maltipoo like they’ve always been brothers. My vet says I hit the jackpot with him.
