I am at my best when I am with my dogs and nothing makes me happier than the opportunity to share them with others! Sassafras Goldens is a family affair. From potty breaks to puppy socialization, each family member plays an important role in making this dream come true!

Why did you start breeding?
I was passionate about volunteering and doing animal-assisted therapy work but was unsuccessful with the 2 rescue dogs I had adopted due to their behavioral issues. My rescues also suffered from lifelong health issues from poor care. I purchased a golden from a reputable breeder and the difference blew me away. I had a desire to be able to offer equally great dogs to other people too.What makes your program special?
We aim to produce puppies that match the AKC breed standard. We health test our dogs to ensure that we are breeding the healthiest puppies possible. We continue to implement health, training, and socialization strategies long after puppies are born. We keep in contact with every family that purchases one of our puppies and offer lifetime breeder support!Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and guardian homes.

Puppy prices include a $200 non-refundable deposit and between $2,300 - $3,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“Our puppy price is $2600. A $200 nonrefundable deposit is required to reserve a puppy and this amount is deducted from the total purchase price. The remaining balance is due when puppy is picked up.
