Meet the breeder

I'm Cassidy P., the breeder behind Sassy Pants Pups located in Cortez, CO. We focus on health and socialization to provide you with an empowered well balanced, healthy pet. We raise all of our puppies in our busy bustling home on the BAB curriculum. Then we temperament test each puppy to match it to the right family.

Q. & A. with Cassidy

  • Why did you start breeding?

I have always been fascinated with everything about reproduction and dogs. I found that through good genetics and conditioning I can produce wonderful pets for other people that heal hearts and change lives.
  • What makes your program special?

Here at Sassy Pants Pups we take raising your next family member very seriously. We treat them like one of our own from before they are even conceived through their entire lives. Once you are part of our family we are here for you. I take a holistic approach to raising puppies. I am with moms the entire time they are whelping to be able to intervene if needed. I watch puppies weights and health while letting mom care for them the first three days. At three days I start early neurological stimulation and early scent introduction. When eyes and ears open I start sound and sight curriculum. We are continuously increasing touch and stimulation at the correct times to produce a well balanced socialized pet, that can thrive in your home.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our Bernedoodle puppies include mini and medium sizes. Aussiedoodle puppies include mini and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our Bernedoodle puppies include brown and white, sable, black and white, and blue merle. Aussiedoodle puppies include brown and white, blue merle, red merle, black and white, black tri-color, red phantom, and red tri-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.

If you’re looking for a reputable breeder, stop looking… you found her. This is a lengthy review but should make you feel confident you can stop your search here. I recently had the pleasure of bringing home a new furry family member from Sassy Pants Pups, and I can't express enough how incredible the entire experience was, thanks to the amazing breeder, Cassidy. From our very first interaction, Cassidy's friendly demeanor put me at ease. She welcomed my inquiries with open arms and took the time to answer all of my questions thoroughly. Her knowledge about the breed and the puppy's development was impressive, and it was clear that she genuinely cares about the well-being of her pups and their future families. Throughout the entire process, Cassidy maintained a professional yet warm approach. She provided detailed information about the puppy's lineage, health screenings, and care requirements, ensuring that I was well-prepared for my new role as a pet parent. Her passion for her work was evident, and it was reassuring to know that I was getting my puppy from someone who truly loves what they do. What truly set Cassidy apart was her commitment to follow-up after the adoption. She checked in with me to see how the transition was going and was always available to answer any questions that arose. Whether it was about training tips, nutrition, or general care, she responded promptly and with helpful advice, making me feel supported every step of the way. In conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend Sassy Pants Pups to anyone looking to welcome a new puppy into their home. Cassidy's friendly, knowledgeable, and professional approach made the entire experience a joy. I am so grateful for her dedication and support, which has made my journey into puppy parenthood a delightful one. Thank you, Cassidy, for everything! Also, Brisket says Hi!

Working with SPP/Cassidy was amazing. She’s very very knowledgeable, easy to work with, and trusting. I bought a sweet pup from her and I couldn’t be happier. After I bought my furry friend, SPP stayed in contact with me about vaccines/vet visits and answered all the questions I had! I would work with SPP again.

Cassidy was so wonderful to work with! She hands down breeds the best dogs with high standards & ethical practices. She is NOT a backyard breeder. She puts so much love and care into her dogs. Cassidy ensures her pups are healthy, raises them in a happy/loving environments, runs DNA tests on the parents/pups, and completes temperament tests to ensure you have as much info about your pup as possible. She is great with communication and is very responsive to questions. Our family loves our sweet boy so much, he has the best temperament and is the perfect family dog. Our family would adopt a puppy from Sassy Pants Pups again. It was a great experience!
