I'm Rachel S., the breeder behind Scherrer Sweet Goldendoodles located in Decatur, TX. We do our best to socialize and acclimate each litter so we’re able to offer all-around healthy and well-mannered puppies! We raise our dogs in our home right alongside our family. We love being able to match our puppies with families that are the perfect fit for their personalities.

    Our puppies include petite and miniature sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include cream, apricot, red, black, and merle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home and guardian homes.

Getting a puppy from Rachel

Rachel has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Rachel partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 6 weeks old.

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $2,000 - $5,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Price includes first vaccinations, deworming, genetic testing and initial introduction to potty training. Puppies are raised in home and come very much loved and cared for. No deposit, no hold. We only take deposits for current litter.”

Contract & health guarantee

Rachel may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.     Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Ichthyosis, Golden Retriever Type, DNA Disease Panel, von Willebrand Disease I (vWD I), PRA, Golden Retriever 1
