Anno D.

Breeder of Miniature Schnauzers

Meet the breeder

I'm Anno D., the breeder behind Schnauzah located in Fairfield, CA. Our dogs are our beloved companions. We care deeply about this breed and are proud to be responsible Miniature Schnauzer breeders. We are a simple, family-run breeding program offering loving and loyal companions to others. We focus on quality care and health with each litter we raise.

Q. & A. with Anno

  • Why did you start breeding?

My first dam was a therapy dog. I just fell in love with the breed and decided to breed. I also loved that I could still use my skills and knowledge in the health profession to nurture young puppies.
  • What makes your program special?

All my dams and sire live in my place, and I am always keen to monitor their well-being. I screen my dogs with genetic testing, a veterinarian gives all the vaccinations, and fecal/parasite/Giardia tests are done with puppy wellness checks before adoption. The medical records will also be provided to the new family.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies are liver. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
