Meet the breeder

I'm SOB R., the breeder behind Schnauzers of Blue Ridge located in Spruce Pine, NC. In 2026, we welcomed Toy Poodles into our family, further enriching our breeding program. With over two decades of experience, we prioritize health, temperament, and aesthetics, raising our puppies in a nurturing home environment.

Q. & A. with SOB

  • Why did you start breeding?

What initially started as a simple hobby has evolved into a profound passion, making these delightful dogs an integral part of our lives. The joy and companionship they bring have not only enriched our daily experiences but have also motivated us to share the love and unique qualities of this wonderful breed with other families.
  • What makes your program special?

Our Schnauzer puppies include Miniature, Toy, and occasional Teacups of black, salt & pepper, black & silver, and rare coats of liver, liver & pepper, liver & tan, and parti’s with wiry, super, and mega coats. Ticking is possible depending on parents. Our Poodles we anticipate reds, apricots, and possible parti’s.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include parti, liver, black and silver, salt and pepper, and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
