    We love the Golden Retriever breed. Our dogs have brought us so much joy and happiness that we wanted to give back to them by producing the highest quality dogs and providing them a wonderful life with wonderful families.
  • What makes your program special?

    At Scion Golden Retrievers, we produce excellent companions. Our goal is to not only produce beautiful puppies, but to help promote responsible breeding in order to ensure that the Golden Retriever will continue to thrive for generations to come. We understand the importance of dog health, temperament, and structure, and every breeding decision is made accordingly. We are very dedicated to what we do and what we are trying to achieve as breeders. We work with passion, heart, and integrity, and we truly want what's best for the Golden Retriever line.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

  • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
