I'm Kimberly P., the breeder behind Sea Major Belgians located in Virginia Beach, VA. Small-scale breeder of Belgian Sheepdogs (Groenendael), focused on temperament, soundness & versatility. Our sire is a working psych service dog. Pups are home-raised, socialized, and suited for active families, service work, or sport. Quality over quantity—always.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    My path into breeding began with the life-changing bond I formed with my Belgian Sheepdog, who also serves as my psychiatric service dog. His loyalty, intelligence, and natural intuition gave me daily strength and a new sense of purpose. With the guidance and support of experienced mentors, I took the step into responsible, purpose-driven breeding.

    Purpose-driven breeding of Belgian Sheepdogs, guided by mentorship and service dog experience—raising well-rounded, stable pups for work and companionship.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies are black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Kimberly

Kimberly has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Kimberly partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 8 weeks old.

Puppy prices include a $1,000 non-refundable deposit and between $2,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Puppy price includes registration, contract, health guarantee, Embark testing, microchip, and temperament evaluation. Puppies placed by best fit, not first-come, first-served. Deposit $1,000. Payment plans available case-by-case. Deposits accepted only after a signed contract and survey to ensure best fit for puppy and family.”

Kimberly may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

    Kimberly is absolutely amazing! Her communication has been consistent since our very first phone call, she was and is very thorough with answers to all of my questions. Her dedication and love for her dogs and puppies is extremely evident. She matched us with the perfect puppy, my dream boy. We named him Armin, and he fit right in to our home.
