Our mission is to raise pups that are set to become the best companions. Our hope is to prepare each of our puppies with thoughtful socialization so they have the best foundation to seamlessly transition into their new homes.

Why did you start breeding?
My love for Miniature Poodles inspired me to start Sankofa Poodles KC. Their intelligence, affectionate personalities, and unique charm made me want to share that joy with other families. My goal is to raise wonderful companions and help each puppy find a loving home.
What makes your program special?
At Sankofa Poodles KC, my goal is to give every puppy individual attention and a loving start in life. I value the intelligence, personality, and companionship that make Miniature Poodles special. I strive to build lasting relationships with families and help them find a companion that fits their home.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include sable, apricot, black, red, and phantom. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from JJ

JJ has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, JJ partners with them to find the best puppy match.

“We screen and approve buyers before matching them with a puppy. We discuss each family’s lifestyle, home environment, and expectations, considering the puppy’s temperament and personality to find a suitable match. We prioritize a loving, committed home. Puppies go home at 8 weeks of age. ”

Price

Puppy prices include between $2,000 - $3,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Purebred Miniature Poodles: $2,000 for Tipsy Toes’ puppies without AKC papers. $3,500 for Ruby’s puppies with AKC registration application paperwork.”

Contract & health guarantee

JJ may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. GM2 Gangliosidosis, Poodle Type, Chondrodystrophy and IVDD Risk (CDDY-IVDD), Progressive Retinal Atrophy (PRA), Generalized, Osteochondrodysplasia, Miniature Poodle Type, von Willebrand Disease III (vWD III), Neonatal Encephalopathy with Seizures (NEwS)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
