I'm Amie P., the breeder behind Selah Doodles located in Virginia Beach, VA. Originating in Ocala, FL & now in Va Beach, Selah Doodles is inspired by the original Australian lines. I focus on a few carefully planned litters, raising health‑tested, low‑shedding Australian Labradoodles with calm, people‑focused temperaments for family, therapy, and emotional support homes.

Why did you start breeding?
I discovered Australian Labradoodles in 2006 at Tegan Park USA in Ocala, Florida, and was mentored by one of the women who helped bring the breed to the U.S. Bringing home Tegan Park’s Monarch, a never‑for‑sale foundation female, is what launched Selah Doodles and my commitment to preserving the original vision for this breed.What makes your program special?
My program is small, intentional, and rooted in the original Australian lines I learned from hands‑on at Tegan Park USA. I’m relaunching Selah Doodles with one very special foundation female and one litter at a time, so every puppy gets intensive, in‑home raising and the full benefit of that early mentorship and experience.What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies include miniature and medium sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Getting a puppy from Amie
Amie has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.
Amie partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 6 weeks old.

“Puppies are $2,950 as cherished companions, with a $500 reservation fee applied to total. This reflects health‑tested parents, in‑home raising, early socialization, and a 2‑yr genetic health warranty. $500 reservation fee holds your spot after approval. It’s applied to the $2,950 purchase price; balance is due before pickup. Reservation fees may be refundable or transferable per our policy.”

This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. Parent health testing

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Vet Wellness Exam
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
DNA Disease Panel, PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
