I'm Angela Y., the breeder behind Semper Fi K9 Montana located in Ronan, MT. We raise our puppies with total care and attention so they can become well-socialized and loving additions to their forever homes. We are experienced breeders. We’re careful to breed and raise our pups with only the best policies. The quality of our dogs reflects the conscious decisions we make throughout every part of the breeding process.

Why did you start breeding?
I grew up caring and training dogs for my mom. As I became an adult and had my own family I wanted my family to experience the same love and devotion from German Shepherds that I did. I also wanted to continue to breed quality family raised German Shepherds.What makes your program special?
We are small family focused breeding program. Our dogs are first and foremost a part of our family. They live with us, sleep with us and are a daily part of our lives. We include them in our walks, hikes, and time at the lake.What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our puppies have stock coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

“We have an excellent upcoming litter due September 17 out of V Margman Yes line. Puppies wll be black and black/red. Long and stock coats are expected. Both parents imports from West German Showlines, have "a" stamp hips, and are DM-clear so all puppies will be DM-clear! Puppies will be well socialized with children, started on crate training, and receive their first puppy vaccinations. All puppies are the same price. Deposits are non-refundable. Deposits can be transferred to another litter.”

About Zova
Zova, is a magnificent black German Shepherd, who comes from a truly exceptional line of champion German Shepherds! Her mother, SG Ema de Panait, is a beautiful import with a fantastic temperament and an impressive pedigree, including VA2 Odin von Bischof Metzger. Zova's dad, Sg X’Optimus de Eldorado, is a stunning, imported, black long coat German Shepherd. His rare color and long coat, extending to his paws, make him unique. He's a large, muscular dog with a masculine head, standing just over 64cm tall and weighing 90 lbs. Optimus is friendly, eager to please, and has won numerous show titles, including "Champion of Montenegro" in 2022. His hips and elbows are certified normal, and he is DM-clear. Both parents are DM-clear and Ema has a3 hips/normal elbows and Optimus has normal/f.normal.

Ellie is an imported German shepherd female from Germany, she is the daughter of the well known VA1 EST. Henry Latmon, the most known solid black short coat stud in the world at this time. Her mother is out of world champion Willy. Overall a top top pedigree. She is a very large female, 62 cm at the shoulder blades and 77 lbs (above the standard of the breed). She was tested and certified for dysplasia in Germany by S.V. She was tested for Degenerative Myelopathy and CLEARED by OFA. Ellie has a medium drive and is very friendly, social and confident. She’s very loyal and she easily attaches to the owner. Ellie produced very nice puppies in previous kennels, dark face with deep red pigment, confident and large in size. Fully titled parents and grandparents SchH’s (schutzhund) with Kkl I (recommended to breed) and excellent hips and elbows. Top notch bloodlines from Germany. WORLD CHAMPIONs in her pedigree.

Jango has good hips/normal elbows x-rayed by the SV in Germany and is DM-clear. He has also tested negative on an entire EMBARK panel. Jango is a gorgeous male with a disposition to match and is a joy to take out in public.

His grandmother was also chosen as the number 2 female German Shepherd in the world in 2019 at the World Sieger Show in Germany. His great grandfather and other dogs in his pedigree were also World Sieger Champions! Zeke is DM-clear and has good hips and normal elbows. Zeke is a gorgeous male who is eager to learn

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Temperament Test
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
