Why did you start breeding?
I think like most breeders, it stems from a deep love for the breed, coupled with a desire and vision for how to improve the breed going forward. It's a personal passion and hobby of mine to help spread love and joy through breeding Staffords.What makes your program special?
My program stands out because of our commitments to the breed. I push myself for excellence in the care and testing of our breeding stock, and I stand behind every puppy we produce for the life of that puppy. I truly love the Staffordshire Bull Terrier breed and am dedicated to looking out for the breed as a whole.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
Hereditary (Juvenile) Cataracts (HC; JC), L-2-Hydroxyglutaric Aciduria (L2HGA), Staffordshire Bull Terrier Type
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

Kevin Boyer is the best of the best. He is a kind, compassionate, dedicated breeder of SBTs, and produces extremely healthy, fun loving, great tempered dogs. I purchased a beautiful red-and-white pied from him, who is the greatest dog. I named him Achilles. He represents the breed spectacularly and achieved his AKC Champion status before he was one year old. He recently competed in the 50th anniversary jubilee National SBTCA dog show in Gray Summit, MO and was picked out both days for the final "cut" in Best of Breed. If you're looking for a top-quality SBT Kevin could not be a better breeder to reach out to. And truly, he is a great guy!
