Meet the breeder

I'm Kieshia J., the breeder behind Serene Prairie K9 located in Cheney, WA. We proudly produce health-tested, well-structured puppies from carefully selected, titled parents. Bred for soundness, temperament, and versatility, our dogs excel in performance, show, and active family homes. We are committed to raising exceptional lifelong companions.

Q. & A. with Kieshia

  • Why did you start breeding?

My journey with dogs began in 1994 in the show ring, and in 2002 I began learning firsthand in the whelping box what responsible breeding entails. For over 33 years, I have been dedicated to showing and raising champion purebred dogs. We carefully study pedigrees, health, and temperament to preserve and improve the breeds we love while producing exceptional companions.
  • What makes your program special?

What sets our breeding program apart is our commitment to decades of experience, responsible breeding, and preservation of the breeds we love. We focus on health, structure, temperament, and versatility by carefully selecting titled, health-tested parents. Our puppies are raised with care, socialization, and purpose to become exceptional companions and outstanding representatives of their breed.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

French Bulldog puppies include brindle, fawn, brindle and white, and fawn and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.

Getting a puppy from Kieshia

Kieshia has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Kieshia partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 8 weeks old.

“How We Match Puppies With Their Families At Serene Prairie K9, we believe the best puppy placement is about finding the right match between each puppy and their future family — not simply allowing families to choose based on color, markings, or first impression. Our puppy-matching process takes place when puppies are approximately 7–8 weeks old, with our formal structure and temperament evaluations completed at approximately 7½ weeks. During these evaluations, we carefully assess each puppy’s structure, temperament, personality, confidence, energy level, and individual traits. Once we have completed our evaluations, we review the applications from our approved families and match each puppy with the home that best fits their individual needs and characteristics. Our goal is for every puppy to leave us at approximately 8 weeks of age with a family that is truly suited to them and prepared to provide a lifetime of love, training, and care. We don’t just place puppies — we make thoughtful, individualized matches designed to set both the puppy and family up for a successful life together. 🐾💜”
