I'm Nathaniel C., the breeder behind Setareh Chinese Shar Pei located in San Leandro, CA. I strive to produce top-quality Chinese Shar-Pei. My dogs are bred for health, temperament, conformation and to be loving members of the family. I value the communal health of the fancy and I try to be an asset to the breed locally and nationally. I'm happy to help however I can.
Q. & A. with Nathaniel
Why did you start breeding?
I began showing Chow Chows as a teenager and managed a private show kennel throughout high school and college. I fell in love with the fancy and knew it would always be a part of my life. I got my first CSP from Roberta Libman of Mikobi CSP and I've been with the breed ever since.
What makes your program special?
I'm committed to a breeding program that is honest, ethical and borne out of a sincere appreciation for the breed. I love my dogs. Camille is the foundation female at Setareh.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
