Q. & A. with Robyn
Why did you start breeding?
As a young girl I saw my first papillon. I remember the little dog took my breath away! It took me almost 4 decades to get my own. With a history of volunteering, fostering, and rescuing dogs, cats, and bunnies, we began breeding with deep research and knowledge in 2019. Our dogs both come from champion lines and compliment each others' conformations and personalities.
What makes your program special?
Seven Pillars Papillons, like everything we do, is done with the family touch. In addition to meeting breed standards, our dogs are socialized with our 6 kids and friends and family, and taken for outings, so by the time they come to you they are very well socially balanced. We are also training them from 3 weeks old. And yes, we pray over your pups and the families they go to!
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black brown and white, brown and white, and sable. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Robyn and her family are wonderful! Robyn is very knowledgeable about papillons (and dogs generally) and has been an invaluable resource. Her dogs Maverick and Jubilee are gorgeous, correct, and have wonderful temperaments. They clearly passed these traits to our puppy, Enzo! We appreciate that Robyn took time to get to know us to ensure her puppy would be a good match for our family. We had the opportunity to meet her, our puppy, and his parents before deciding. We also appreciate that Robyn does very thorough genetic testing and shared all results with us. Our puppy has exceeded our expectations in every way. He is the most wonderful addition to our family. His transition to our home was extremely smooth - he was housebroken almost on arrival — and he exhibited no stress. He is very well socialized, a credit to Robyn’s careful raising program. He is very friendly and learns quickly. Enzo is a constant companion and joy to be around. We highly recommend Robyn!
