I'm Melissa F., the breeder behind Seven Seas Cotons located in Brogden, NC. Our goal is to provide families with a great family pet. Coton’s have a history of being an easier breed to train, their fur is allergy friendly, and they make great companions. Based on our experience they are great with kids and adults. For these reasons, and more, I believe these are great family pets!

  • Why did you start breeding?

    When we started discussing the idea of breeding dogs we knew we wanted to make sure we could breed dogs that would be as healthy as possible (clean bloodlines), have a great temperament, and be allergy friendly. We found Cotons and got our first one, Phoebe. We fell in love and knew this was our breed!

  • What makes your program special?

    We consider ourselves a dog first breeder. Our dogs are our pets first. They live in our home with us and are raised as part of our family. We are incredibly intentional in making sure we keep bloodlines clean so we can have the healthiest, best temperament pups possible. We network with other breeders to grow and learn from those who have done this longer than us.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies are white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Melissa

Melissa has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and $2,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

"The price includes AKC registeration, deworming, vaccinations, veterinary visit, health guarantee, and socialization. All our puppies are the same price. The deposit ensures you the puppy you have chosen and we no longer advertise that puppy. It is reserved for the buyer."

Contract & health guarantee

Melissa may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.
