I'm Tish M., the breeder behind Shandy Poodle located in Thornton, CO. Our poodles are bred for gentle balanced temperaments and overall good health and structure. Parents are genetically tested using Embark to assure health. Parents hips are tested using OFA (Orthopedic Foundation for Animals) We introduce age appropriate stimuli and training starting from birth to create a well balanced puppy.

Why did you start breeding?
I got into breeding by being involved in the dog sport community and became intrigued by attributes of different breeds. My initial experience with the Standard Poodles won my heart over. Their impressive intelligence, and beauty along with non shedding and hypoallergenic qualities puts them at the top for me. My goal in breeding is to produce well tempered and well adjusted standard poodle puppies that will assimilate into their new families as easily as possible.What makes your program special?
Our dogs are family members; breeding is minimal and will be kept to only 2 litters per year. We give each litter our very best and utmost attention. They are introduced to Early Neurological Stimulation, Early Scent Introduction and a variety of sounds and textures to explore. They are socialized with children, adults and our other family member dogs to help them be highly successful members of your family.What are the different breed sizes in your program?

"Limited registration $2,000 Full registration $4000 Both include early training and socialization, grooming and first round of shots. $500 non refundable This deposit will hold a puppy, if there is not a puppy that is a fit from a litter the deposit will be refunded or will hold a puppy from the next litter."

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
