Meet the breeder

Parents hips are tested using OFA (Orthopedic Foundation for Animals) We introduce age appropriate stimuli and training starting from birth to create a well balanced puppy.

Q. & A. with Tish

  • Why did you start breeding?

I got into breeding by being involved in the dog sport community and became intrigued by attributes of different breeds. My initial experience with the Standard Poodles won my heart over. Their impressive intelligence, and beauty along with non shedding and hypoallergenic qualities puts them at the top for me. My goal in breeding is to produce well tempered and well adjusted standard poodle puppies that will assimilate into their new families as easily as possible and be lifelong well adjusted family members.
  • What makes your program special?

Our Poodles are family members; breeding is minimal and is kept to only 1-2 litters per year. I give each litter my utmost attention. They are introduced to Early Neurological Stimulation, Early Scent Introduction and a variety of sounds and textures and movement to explore. I introduce early training to each litter including basic manners, potty training, crate training and methods incorporated to reduce resource guarding behaviors. They are socialized with children, adults and our other family member dogs to help them become highly successful members of your family. I follow the Puppy Culture program and am also a professional dog trainer (CPDT-KA)and am always available to help guide in the training of your puppy into adulthood. As well as my guidance, each puppy goes home with a copy of the Puppy Start Right book to help guide you with your puppy’s early training.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our puppies are standard size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include apricot, black, cream, red, and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Tish

Tish has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Tish partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 7 weeks old.

“I want every placement to be successful for each family therefore I take great care with this process. I work together with you to match your specific lifestyle needs and your preference on sex and colors to place the right puppy with you. I do temperament testing at 7 weeks, this helps us see the personalities of each puppy and how they respond to the environment. If the puppy you are considering is a fit then the puppy is placed with you. If the puppy is not a fit then we would discuss why and would consider a different puppy from the litter. I have had great success with this method and have had wonderful matches! ”
