I'm Barbara C., the breeder behind Sharpshooter Standard Poodles located in Pahrump, NV. We built our program with care and intention in every step. We care deeply about the health and wellbeing of this breed. We are experienced breeders, and we take our role seriously. We keep a variety of factors in mind when choosing dogs to breed, including health, temperament, pedigree, and complementary traits, so that puppies can inherit the best of both parents.

What makes your program special?
Puppies are raised in my home, my breeding dogs are all AKC or UKC champions. They are all fully health tested with CHIC numbers.What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Program update on 16 June 2025 •These handsome boys are still available! They are now crate trained, they sleep in their crate all night without accidents! They will get their 3rd vaccine next week. They are ready for you! We're starting on house training! Please if you want a well bred beautiful puppy reach out to me. Im very motivated to find these guys good homes!

Litter update on 15 May 2025 •The puppies are 9 weeks old now! Wow time flies! I have 4 beautiful black males left! They are litter pan trained, we're working on crate training. They've had 1 vaccine, and will be microchipped prior to going to their new homes!

Sharpshooter Standard Poodles reports to performing the health tests below on their breeding dogs. Ask your breeder about the tests performed on the parents of your litter. Learn more about health testing for Standard Poodles.
Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
OFA/CHIC DNA Repository
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
