Q. & A. with Ellie
Why did you start breeding?
My husband and I started with a pair of jacks over 15 years ago. We work, play and compete all over the United States and Canada. After breeding our first litter, we found that we loved the science of pedigree research, health testing, and genetics. This new love grew into a passion for producing healthy and balanced Jack Russell Terriers for our family and yours!
What makes your program special?
We’re passionate, ethical breeders that focus on preserving, protecting, and maintaining the breed standards. Our goal is to consistently produce quality Jack Russell Terriers with excellent temperaments, conformation, health, and working instincts. Our goal is to send home the same puppy that we would expect to bring home ourselves. Learn more about our Jack Russells at ShavanoCreek.com
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include tri-color, white, and tan and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and guardian homes.
