I'm Shawna W., the breeder behind Shawna Wells located in Smithfield, OH. We love showing/sledding and raising Siberian huskies. We have multiple AKC champions that we have bred/owned over the past 20+ years. We complete OFA hip evaluations & eye exams before dogs are bred. We focus on health, temperament, intelligence & athleticism.

Why did you start breeding?
Shawna has been a dog lover since a child. She became a member of an all breed club in her early 20's learning about breeds and breeding. Shawna & JR started showing in the mid 1990's and breeding in 2000.What makes your program special?
We study the health, temperament & pedigrees of the Siberian huskies. Our dogs are beloved pets & companions first and foremost. We have litters on occasion and the new puppy owners become part of our extended family. We are available to them for questions & suggestions for the lifetime of the puppy.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Shawna has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Puppy prices include a $1,200 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“Our price includes, first vaccinations, microchip, started bag of puppy food and lifetime support. This price also includes AKC limited registration.”

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
