Raised in our home on our 5-acre hobby farm with an emphasis on soundness, temperament, health & breed type.

Why did you start breeding?
Today, Salish’ ROR is home to AKC Miniature American Shepherds and ASDR Miniature Australian Shepherds. Decades of experience with dogs have shaped what is important to me as a breeder: sound structure, correct breed type, good health, wonderful temperaments, and dogs that are both beautiful and functional.What makes your program special?
So much has gone into creating a well rounded puppy for a family to enjoy a lifetime of dogs, Whether they go on to succeed in the show ring, enjoy performance sports, or simply become someone’s much-loved best friend, my goal is to produce happy, healthy, beautiful dogs that are a joy to live with, enjoying a long life. Salish’ ROR — a lifetime of dogs, and a continued love for the sport.What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our Miniature Australian Shepherd puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our Miniature Australian Shepherd puppies are blue merle. Miniature American Shepherd puppies are blue merle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Getting a puppy from Shawnmarie
Shawnmarie has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.
After buyers complete the application and screening process, Shawnmarie partners with them to find the best puppy match.
“A $200 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve a puppy. The deposit will be applied toward the total purchase price of your puppy. The remaining balance is due when your puppy is picked up.”

“Our puppies are typically priced from $1,000–$2,000, depending on the individual puppy. Our priority is always placing each puppy in a loving, appropriate home where they will be a treasured member of the family. Please contact us for information about current or upcoming litters and availability. A $200 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve a puppy. Hip Dysplasia (Preliminary), Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
