This litter is incredibly special to me, and I’m committed to ensuring each pup finds a loving, forever home where they can thrive.

Breeder-Reported Testing

Good level

shelby ealey reports to performing the health tests below on their breeding dogs. Ask your breeder about the tests performed on the parents of your litter. Learn more about health testing for Standard Poodles.

  • Hip Dysplasia

Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Patellar Luxation

Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.

  • Sebaceous Adenitis (SA)

A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.

  • PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd)

Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

What a magical experience! I had contacted Shelby through GoodDog back in June about Indy’s expectant litter. As soon as Indy went into labor, she contacted me and I chose Princess Peaches. The entire process of welcoming Peaches into our family was a breeze and Shelby was incredibly resourceful and educated me on all things Poodle Puppy. Since picking up Peaches, she has bonded with our whole family with a calm yet playful demeanor and excellent temperament. Ethical breeders are hard to find, but Shelby knows her stuff and is so communicative. 100/10 experience, all around!

Thor is doing great. We tried to leave his name the same, but he wouldn’t answer to it for us so we tried different names. My nephew called him Polar Bear because he is white and reminds him of a teddy bear and when he heard the name bear he looked up. I told my nephew to call him again and he went to him. So we call him Bear for short. He is a hand full for sure, but he is a puppy and very curious so it’s to be expected.
