I'm Kendy S., the breeder behind Shepherd's Hearth Old Time Scotch Collies located in Falls Mills, VA. We offer quality-bred Scotch Collies with a focus on soundness, health, intuition, biddability, and versatility. We strive to breed superb puppies that can fit any lifestyle. We take pride in raising well-tempered and socialized puppies who can excel in work on farms, for service and therapy, and as beloved companions!

Q. & A. with Kendy

  • Why did you start breeding?

We are dedicated to continuing our phenomenal bloodlines in an effort to provide others with loving, healthy, and happy puppies. We strive to maintain and improve upon the unique qualities that the Old Time Scotch Collies have to offer as exceptional working dogs with born intuition and ability paired with control and the desire to please. Disposition is not the only thing, but it's the biggest thing.
  • What makes your program special?

We do not breed unless both parents are exceptionally healthy and display working intuition. We breed useful and complimentary OTSC partners for versatile purposes. Young puppies are raised with Puppy Culture methods to give each little pup the very best chance to reach its potential, express its best character, and bring forth its greatest gifts in the relationship with itself and to its family.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
