Why did you start breeding?
My love for the English Springer Spaniels began as a child when my Dad's best friend sent a 10 week liver and white puppy girl home with my Dad. Her name was Heidi and she was my special friend all through my childhood. I retired early and moved to my five generation property to live a dream. I've restored the property, built kennels and share my mountain home with my four-legged family.What makes your program special?
The future of Shermade is to be a small, selective hobby kennel. My dogs are a part of my everyday life. I'm dedicated to producing quality Springers that are physically and mentally sound. I hope all my breeding dogs will be finished champions. They all will be DNA tested, OFAed and CERFed.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.
