I'm Annemarie S., the breeder behind Shiningstar located in Flemington, NJ. Having a dog in our lives is such a blessing. We find so much fulfillment in providing that same companionship to other homes! The loyalty and loving disposition of this breed are simply the best! We put a great deal of effort into raising our litters to ensure our puppy families will have the best experience raising their new family members.

Why did you start breeding?
We lost a beautiful 2 year old standard poodle many years ago.As time passed we had the hardest time finding a reputal breeder . My husband and I decided to breed standard poodles which led to goldendoodles and EnglishCream Golden retievers.What makes your program special?
I take great care finding exceptional dogs with great personalities.What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are standard size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Parent health testing

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Thyroid (Autoimmune Thyroiditis, registered with OFA)
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
von Willebrand Disease I (vWD I)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
