I'm Kortni S., the breeder behind Shockley’s Elite Doodles located in Orland, CA. We treat our dogs and puppies like family, and we give each pup all the loving care that we can to prepare them for their forever homes. We are proud of our program and look forward to helping you find your next furry family member!

  • Why did you start breeding?

    As a mom of four including a special needs child, we were in search of an amazing family dog to keep up with our lifestyle but with the ability to easily intergrade into home life and as well as service & therapy work for our son. We found combing our love & passion of the AS with our new found love for the intelligent and loving personalities of Poodles to be the perfect combination.

  • What makes your program special?

    We are proud to be raising healthy, happy, smart, & adorable doodle puppies. This combination took years of research and dedication to ensuring we breed to produce the best possible well-rounded, family dogs. This is very much a family passion and we love connecting each of our puppies to loving forever families.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our Bernedoodle puppies are mini size. Golden Aussiedoodle puppies are medium size. Aussiedoodle puppies are standard size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our Bernedoodle puppies include brown, brown and white, black, black and white, tri-color, phantom, blue merle, and merle. Aussiedoodle puppies include apricot, blue merle, red merle, red phantom, and red tri-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Kortni

Kortni has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Kortni partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,500 - $2,300 final payment, before taxes & fees.

Puppies come with appropriate first vaccines, wormed, puppy pack, and will have visited vet prior to leaving. . All hold fees are non refundable and go towards the total fee for puppy. Seller holds the right to refund payment at any time for any reason prior to puppy pick up. Total is due at pick up/8 weeks."

  • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Multiple Drug Sensitivity (MDR1), PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd), DNA Disease Panel

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

    We had a great experience with Kortni and Shockley's. We brought Teddy home two weeks ago, and the first weeks were easier than expected, teaching him and helping him adjust to our home. We think that a lot of his intelligence and responsiveness are due to his great start with Kortni and the rest of his litter so we appreciate so much the work she put in. We've been socializing him with other dogs as well, and the first few times Teddy was shy and timid, but the last two times we saw him come out of his shell and really let loose and play, so we feel that he has a pretty deep sense of security from his first home to be able to overcome initial fears. Teddy came home healthy and ready to bond with us, and we couldn't be happier with him!
