I'm Lorie P., the breeder behind Shoemaker’s Corgis located in Avon Park, FL. We are lifelong dog enthusiasts, and we’re excited to share our passion and purpose with others through our breeding program. Each of our dogs has brought so much happiness to us throughout their lives. We want to do our part to produce wonderful, healthy dogs that can bring other people joy as well, and we strive to provide each of our puppies with loving homes where they can live happy lives.

Why did you start breeding?
I actually started with German Shepards. When my husbands corgi passed I got him a new female and the rest is history !What makes your program special?
I have worked to get triple clear dogs for my program. I don't want to have to produce any dogs that could have preventable genetic issues.

About Mya Shoemaker
Our sweet little red headed tri Fluff. She is the quietest, sweetest little girl. She was a wonderful mama and took great care of her babies. Her favorite evening place to be is on my lap and she will let you know if she is not there by constantly getting your attention. She is also our "quietist" corgi.

About Sig
Sig has such a wonderful personality, he loves people and is so cuddly. He even lays in front of the puppies and doesn't get aggressive with them at all. He is so fluffy that you can just see a small portion of his legs when he is walking or splooting. He is a total Love !

Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
