I'm Marilyn G., the breeder behind Sidekick Havanese located in Oklahoma City, OK. We love to responsibly raise and train our puppies so they have the tools to be well-rounded, beloved family members. Our puppies are raised with love in our home, and we strive to help each one grow up with confidence so they are ready to thrive with their new families. They are affectionate, intelligent, and cute as can be!

Why did you start breeding?
We had been showing another breed when we were introduced to the wonderful Havanese breed. We started out with two companions and fell in love. We began showing in conformation and others activities and eventually began breeding these amazing little dogs!What makes your program special?
We love each and every one of our little guys and interact with them on a personal level. Our dogs are family pets and live with us enjoying all of our family activities and comforts. We work very closely with our vet and follow a careful schedule of keeping our puppies current on all health needs as well as socialization and training recommendations.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Getting a puppy from Marilyn
Marilyn has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices include a $300 non-refundable deposit and between $1,200 - $1,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“The price includes a health guarantee, health records, AKC registration, socialization, leash/crate introduction, personal belongings including leash/collar, toys, chews, blankie, etc. Deposit will reserve a puppy. I take deposits when puppies are born.”

Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
