Silberhund's Poodles

Cherrie F.

Breeder of Poodles

Meet the breeder

I'm Cherrie F., the breeder behind Silberhund's Poodles located in Elizabethton, TN. We are preservation breeders and we do not breed mixed breed dogs, only poodles. We prioritize health over titles. We love these dogs and know you will too. We are breeders who do everything we can to better the breed and ensure our dogs and puppies are able to get the very most out of life.

Q. & A. with Cherrie

  • Why did you start breeding?

I got into breeding after my first showgirl earned a title. I fell in love with a boy that was showing and doing well and just jumped in. Our current focus is breeding for optimum health in our pups. We enjoy titling our dogs but health of what we produce is more important!
  • What makes your program special?

We are very hands-on with our puppies. We expose them to everything that is possible yet safe. Sounds, experiences, and lots of social visits from potential families. We Understand that just because someone wants a dog doesn't mean they should get a dog, we match our puppy's to our owners. If you put a dog in the right home both the dog and the family will be happy.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include black, blue, brown, cafe au lait, cream, silver, silver-beige, and brindle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
