Vanessa B.

Breeder of Havanese

Meet the breeder

I'm Vanessa B., the breeder behind Silky Ness Havanese located in Cypress, TX. We at Silky Ness Havanese are truly committed to providing quality Havanese puppies for your family and ours. We focus on health, temperament and strive to breed to the breed standard.

Q. & A. with Vanessa

  • Why did you start breeding?

In 2010, I brought home my first Havanese, Snoopy. Not knowing better, we bought him from a pet store and he came riddled with health issues. I decided to do my research with our next Havanese and brought home a beautiful puppy from a responsible breeder. I wanted to dedicate my time to breeding these dogs properly so no one would have the same issue we did with Snoopy.
  • What makes your program special?

We put so much time and love into our program. We really strive to produce the perfect family companion that is free of health issues!
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include white, cream, chocolate, and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
