Q. & A. with Julie
Why did you start breeding?
Bottom line, we love our dogs! We encounter hundreds of people out on our adventures that also fall in love with our dogs. We breed because there is a huge demand for high quality Border Terriers. Plus we love spoiling our mama's and their puppies!
What makes your program special?
I partner with Lndi's Border Terriers, AKC Breeder of Merit and most of my dogs are bred and shown in partnership with Cindy and Kim. All of our dogs are AKC champions and have had complete OFA testing performed. We are an adventurous family and we take our dogs everywhere with us. We raise our puppies in our home where they are played with and loved.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include red grizzle, red, grizzle, blue grizzle, and blue and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
Spongiform Leukoencephalomyelopathy (SLEM)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
