I'm Krystina L., the breeder behind Silver City Cockapoos located in Canastota, NY. Our dogs are our lives and we strive to create the most loving, nurturing environment while we raise your next family member. We want to show you as much of our business as we possibly can. We want you to feel connected with us and our pups. These dogs bring us so much joy and we want to share that joy with you.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I have always had a passion for animals and raising puppies. My parents bred our Golden Retriever when I was growing up and I loved the process of raising puppies and watching them grow and develop. I was able to be very hands-on with the process. I have also had the opportunity to work with another local breeder which helped solidify my decision to continue breeding.

  • What makes your program special?

    We strive to know each of our puppies and their prospective families on an individual level. We love being in communication and staying up to date with each of our pups long after they've gone home. They are still just as much a part of our family no matter how old they are.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies include mini and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include sable, red and white, red, buff and white, buff, black and white, black white and tan, black and tan, and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home and guardian homes.

Getting a puppy from Krystina

Krystina partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 7 weeks old.

Puppy prices include a $300 non-refundable deposit and $2,700 final payment, before taxes & fees.

We also offer a 2 year genetic health guarantee and lifetime support for any Silver City Cockapoo. Your deposit will reserve your spot on our waiting list and will be the order in which you will have the opportunity to join available litters.”

  • Hip Dysplasia , Hip Dysplasia (Preliminary)

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia (Preliminary)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Patellar Luxation

    Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.

    I am incredibly happy with my experience adopting my baby boy, Sullivan "Sully," formerly Princeton, from SCC! From initial contact to bringing him home, everything has been just delightful!     We had a really great experience with Silver City. They were flexible about the time and place to pick up the dog and she is a delight. The vet checkup was perfect and she has been very responsive and easy to train. I appreciated that I was able to see her by video and hear about her personality from Steve and that they helped to start to train her before I picked her up. The instructins they provided and bag of puppy essentials really showed that they want to set the puppy up for success. Highly recommend!
