I'm Ashley R., the breeder behind Silver Pines Pups located in Acton, ME. We breed and raise quality puppies in our home where they are well socialized on our family farm around kids, cats, and dogs. We focus on health, temperament, and intelligence. Each of our pups receives 100 hours of socialization training so they leave for their forever homes with confidence.

Why did you start breeding?
Both of our families have been breeding for years and we decided to combine our passions and knowledge to develop a line of dogs for the purpose of producing quality service and therapy candidates.What makes your program special?
Our focus is health, temperament, and intelligence. We start with ENS and ESI from days 3-16, begin potty training at 3-4 weeks, crate training at 5-6 weeks, and confidence building and environmental socialization all throughout. Puppies are temperament tested at 6 weeks as well to best match families looking for a service candidate with the pup that has the best probable outcome for their needs.What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Goldendoodle puppies include miniature, medium, and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our Golden Retriever puppies include dark golden, golden, and light golden. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Getting a puppy from Ashley
Ashley has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Ashley partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 8 weeks old.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI), Elbow Dysplasia (Preliminary)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

I have not yet met my puppy who was born the last week of January. She will not be ready to come home until the end of March. But, I want to say that Ashley has been lovely to work with, especially in supply pictures and videos. I am so looking forward to meeting her and my puppy on March 25th.
