Meet the breeder

I'm Shasta B., the breeder behind Sinner & Saint Cane Corso located in Manitowoc, WI. We’re proud of the healthy, affectionate, and behaviorally well-rounded puppies we raise for other families to love! We have developed several protocols to ensure the health and well-being of all of our dogs. It’s our top priority to make sure each of our puppy families welcomes a happy and healthy new family member into their homes!

Q. & A. with Shasta

  • Why did you start breeding?

I did foster care with this breed for a few years always fixing byb's problems. I was a band aide for their lack of ability to take responsibility for what they produce. I could not fix the last one i ended up putting her down she was unstable and not living a happy life she would have never been able to be placed in a home safely. That was the last straw for me. What you dont invest in a dog right away you will pay double to triple in vet bills trainers or with your heart. I thought my efforts would be better suited for being a good breeder who will support their owners for a life time and trying to breed health and quality dogs.
  • What makes your program special?

Im a dog trainer and competitor first a breeder second. I know what my goals are and what I want to produce. Confident well rounded corsi. My passion for this breed runs deep. Ive been with the breed for 12 years and is the only breed for me! Ive seen the worst of this breed and the best from health to temperament. My goal is to provide the best of both.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include gray and fawn, chestnut brindle, black, black brindle, fawn, gray, and gray brindle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

I had a wonderful experience working with Shasta from sinner and saint cane corso! From the very beginning, she was knowledgeable, and incredibly caring about her dogs. She kept me updated throughout the entire process with pictures, health updates, and information about the puppy's development. Her dogs are clearly raised with love and attention. When I brought my puppy home, it was obvious that she had been well cared for -confident and healthy. What I appreciated most was Shasta's communication. Every question I had was answered promptly, and she made sure I had all the support I needed after bringing my puppy home. I highly recommend sinner&Saint to anyone looking for a quality, ethical breeder who truly prioritizes the well-being of her dogs. I couldn't be happier with my new addition to the family!

Shasta was quick to respond to any questions my partner and I had about the puppies/adoption process. She is very knowledgeable and passionate about the breed which is one of the reasons we chose to get a puppy from Sinner & Saint. I especially liked the care package that was curated for our pup to help ease his transition home.

Shasta was amazing to work with throughout the purchase process and after. She posted several weekly updates/pictures of the liter and was always quick to respond to any questions we had. She has kept in contact with the new owners and posts updates of how the puppies are growing in their new homes. Thank you Shasta for all you do for this breed.
