I'm Lisa K., the breeder behind Sixteenth Storm Poodles located in Columbus, OH. I am a very small scale breeder of health tested Standard Poodles with a focus on improving multicolored Standard Poodles. My program is small so I can give my breeding dog, Storm, the life she deserves. It also allows me to give each breeding the quality attention needed to produce happy and healthy puppies.
Q. & A. with Lisa
Why did you start breeding?
I started showing my first Standard Poodle, and she did really well. I am hooked on the breed and I want to be one of the stewards of the breed that will help improve its health and versatility.
What makes your program special?
I title my dogs in conformation and many other venues, including rally, barnhunt, therapy work. I believe that all breeds should be conformationally correct, but have the brains and drive to be working dogs, as well.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are standard size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
