I'm Isabelle F., the breeder behind Skye Chase Poodles located in Alexandria, VA. Since 2008, we have raised AKC Miniature Poodles in Alexandria, Virginia. Our puppies are raised as part of our family with daily handling, early socialization, and exposure to children. We carefully select breeding dogs for health and temperament and provide lifelong support to our puppy families.

Why did you start breeding?
Our journey into breeding began from a genuine love for Miniature Poodles and the wonderful companionship they bring to families. After experiencing their intelligence, affectionate personalities, and loyal nature firsthand, we became passionate about responsibly raising healthy, well-socialized puppies for others to enjoy as lifelong companions. We are committed to raising our puppies in a loving home environment where they receive daily interaction, care, and early socialization. Breeding has become something we truly enjoy because it allows us to connect families with puppies that are not only beautiful, but also have wonderful temperaments and loving personalities. We Our journey began when we welcomed our first Miniature Poodle into our family and quickly fell in love with the breed. Their intelligence, trainability, and loving personalities inspired us to learn more about responsible breeding. What started as a passion for the breed grew into a commitment to preserving and improving it through thoughtful breeding practices, health testing, and raising puppies that become beloved family companions.

Getting a puppy from Isabelle

Isabelle has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Isabelle partners with them to find the best puppy match.

“We carefully match each puppy with their future family based on personality, temperament, lifestyle, and overall fit. Our goal is to ensure every puppy is placed in a loving home where they will thrive. Puppies are matched in the order deposits are received, while also considering the best fit for both the puppy and the family. Temperament evaluations and personality observations are used as the puppies grow and develop. We encourage open communication throughout the process and are happy to help guide families in selecting the puppy that best matches their preferences and lifestyle. While color and gender preferences are considered, temperament and compatibility remain our top priority. We reserve the right to make final placement decisions to ensure the best long-term outcome for each puppy. ”

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and $1,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Our AKC Miniature Poodles are $2,000 and include AKC registration, veterinary care, vaccinations, deworming, socialization, and breeder support. Bred for health, temperament, and companionship. A $500 non-refundable deposit reserves a puppy and applies to the $2,000 purchase price. The balance is due at pickup. Deposits are refunded under limited circumstances.”

Sunshine is our beautiful red AKC Miniature Poodle with a loving temperament and a gentle, affectionate personality. Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
