I'm Karen N., the breeder behind Smarti Doodles located in Connersville, IN. We work hard to produce healthy, well-rounded Bordoodle puppies that will make others as happy as our dogs have made us! We raise our litters in our home to help set the foundation for happy and confident puppies to transition well into their forever homes. It’s a privilege to have the opportunity to make an impact on each individual puppy!

  • Why did you start breeding?

    People that choose to purchase a puppy rather than adopt from a shelter deserve to have access to puppies that are healthy and given an amazing start to a happily ever after by responsible breeders. I am that responsible breeder and I pour my heart and soul into producing awesome puppies.

  • What makes your program special?

    Our mommas and pappas are family, they live in our house and are pets and working dogs first (herding dogs). Our puppies are born in the house and raised by our family. They are raised following puppy culture protocols and given a great start to an amazing life. They will be conditioned to many everyday life experiences and early training started as well as professional veterinary care provided.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies are standard size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include black and white and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Karen

Karen has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Price

Puppy prices include a $300 non-refundable deposit and between $650 - $1,200 final payment, before taxes & fees.

"All puppies will come with 2 rounds of puppy vaccinations, dewormed every two weeks starting at 3 weeks of age and a full veterinary exam by a licensed veterinarian. $300."

Contract & health guarantee

Karen may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • DNA Disease Panel

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
